Apple store, Regents Street

Not just a technological and financial gold mine but an architectural one as well.  235 Regent Street was Apples first retail store in Europe opening on 20th November 2004. The building, part of the Crown Estate (owned by the Queen), was designed by Sir Reginald Theodore Bloomfield (20 December 1856 – 27 December 1942)

No idea what these gold mosaics represent but they look spectacular. It’s amazing what architectural gems can be seen when strolling through London. If only Londoners would spare the time to look.
